About the Book

Something ancient and terrifying has awakened in the rugged deserts of West Texas.

Oil field workers vanish without a trace. Bloodied bones are the only clues left behind. When a retired combat veteran and his fiercely loyal German Shepherd, Jerry Lee, encounter a monstrous creature with glowing yellow eyes and silver scales, they realize the threat is far beyond anything they’ve faced before.

Teaming up with a Navajo beauty, a grizzled sheriff, and a war-hardened colonel, they uncover a chilling truth: the beasts are merciless, intelligent, shape-shifting cryptids tied to Navajo legends and cursed spirits known as Shadow Walkers.
